SSL Certificate (HTTPS) is used to encrypt the communication between the browser and server. It can encrypt email address, password, credit/debit card numbers, and other confidential details.

SSH is used to encrypt the communication between two computers. Between two computer with remote access, users can securely copy files and access each single files and folders.
